Cairns Tree Fellers where engaged to assist with the removal of a large dead tree, which was obstructing the flight path of transport helicopters used to service the telecommunications equipment at Kalphalin Rock on Lamb Range west of of Cairns.
This was definitely an exciting job for us, as we were airlifted in with all of our gear hanging from the helicopter in a service equipment basket. The views of Cairns and Lamb Range were stunning.
